In a nutshell - I really like Hootsuite and think it’s a great social media management tool.
Some of the key features include:

- Ability to manage everything from your mobile phone through an App.
- An App Directory which integrates great functionality from (Trendspotter, Tumblr, YouTube, InboxQ, Get Satisfaction).
- Basic analytics to see:
- How popular your social media messages are.
- How your social media activity influences website trafic.
- Who is engaging with your Facebook page.
- Automatic posting of new content from your blog, to your social networks.
- Social influence scores for people you are interacting with.
- Ability to grant access to an additional team members, to jointly manage social profiles.
- Scheduled Messaging.
HootSuite has two plans/versions:
- A totally free version.
- A Pro version priced at $5.99/month, with a 30 Day Free Trial.
I’ve tried many similar tools (Sprout Social, Tweetdeck, SocialOomph, Seesmic) and Hootsuite is the winner for me.
